John with Chloe

Welcome to the new updated web site for the Midland OES Club. The aim of the club is to promote responsible ownership (and breeding) of Old English Sheepdogs. To facilitate this we have an active committee who can all offer advice we also operate a rescue to re-home unwanted OES.

The club produces a high quality glossy year book (free to all members) each December with interesting breed related articles and information, resent editions have focused on the history of the OES as a working dog and tales from farmers who have worked the breed since the war. It also contains pictures and information on members dogs. For more information or to book a page to advertise your wins etc contact the editor – Jan Betts.

On the following pages you will find contact details for committee members, details of forthcoming events - details of shows and closing dates, etc.  Results and pictures from our shows, the Welfare page has a contact for our welfare coordinator, together with pictures and a case history of some of the dogs we have re-homed.  If you would like to be included on our judges list there are details of how to request inclusion, for a copy of the lists please contact the list coordinator.
